Getting started with Rankion

You have an account on rankion.ai and want to start using the platform productively. This guide walks you through login, project setup, credit check and your first tool run in about ten minutes.

Account & login

Open rankion.ai/login and sign in with your email address. On your first login you are forwarded to the dashboard. If you don't have an account yet: registration runs through /register — afterwards you'll get a confirmation email. Done in under a minute.

In the dashboard you see the menu with all modules on the left, your team and credit balance in the top right. If you work in multiple teams, you can switch between them in the top right — all data (projects, articles, tracking runs) is strictly isolated per team.

Create your first project

A project is your central anchor for a domain or a brand. In the menu, click Projects → New project and enter your domain (e.g. mydomain.com). Pick country and language.

With your project in place, you can then track AI visibility, assign articles, import backlinks and cluster keywords. More on that in AI Visibility Tracking — that's where the heart sits: how often does your brand show up in ChatGPT, Perplexity & co.?

Check your credits

Rankion runs on a credit system. Every new account starts with 50 free credits. An article generation run costs 5 credits, a keyword research call also 5, an A→Z expansion 10. You can see your current balance in the top right or via the API:

Try your first tool

We recommend the Keyword Explorer as a starting point — fast, cheap (5 credits) and instantly shows what data feels like in Rankion. Go to Tools → Keyword Explorer, enter a seed keyword (e.g. vegan protein) and click Start research.
