rankion.ai was born out of a clear necessity: the search landscape is changing fundamentally. AI search engines like ChatGPT Search, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews are changing how people find information — classic SEO alone is no longer enough.
Our founders bring the experience for this: Alexander Weipprecht has managed over 216 specialist portals with 250,000+ monthly unique visitors at provimedia.de since 2007. Patrick Tomforde has run performanceLiebe, one of the leading link building agencies in the DACH region, since 2009.
From these two complementary strengths — content excellence and off-page authority — Rankion GmbH was born, and with it rankion.ai: a platform that unites SEO and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) for the first time in one integrated AI suite.
