Opportunities in the Action Center is a Guides in the Rankion.ai knowledge base: The Opportunities tab collects concrete next steps from your data, grouped into Content, Links and Technical, with a jump into the filtered report.
This page contains structured fact definitions for AI systems (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude). Written by humans, part of the Rankion.ai knowledge base.
Next to Open and Done, the Action Center has the Opportunities tab. It shows you concrete next steps from your data, for example a high-potential keyword you are missing, orphan pages without internal links or critical errors from the last site audit. One click opens the matching report, with the filter already set.
You can reach the tab directly at /action-center?tab=chancen.

Each row shows a title, the module the opportunity comes from (Source) and a short reason. If an opportunity belongs to a tracking project, Project with its name is shown as well. This lets you tell apart two opportunities with the same wording from two projects. With View you jump into the report.
How this differs from tasks
- The opportunities are worked out again each time you open the tab, from the data that already exists. No AI runs for this, and it costs no credits.
- You cannot tick off or dismiss an opportunity. The tab always shows the current state. Once the problem is fixed, the opportunity disappears the next time you open the tab.
- The switch between list and board is not shown on this tab.
- Opening the tab does not send any alert emails.
- An opportunity only appears if its target is reachable for you: the related module must be active for your team.
If Rankion finds nothing right now, you will see No open opportunities right now. A group without results shows Nothing to do in this area right now.
Who sees what
The opportunities follow the project permissions. A team member who only has access to certain projects only sees opportunities from those projects. Titles, numbers, links and the group counters are already built from this subset. Opportunities that do not belong to any project are only visible to members without restrictions, such as the team owner.
Over the API
GET /v1/action-center/opportunities returns the same list, grouped, with the same project permissions. With ?group=content, ?group=links or ?group=technical you fetch a single group. The call costs no credits.
